POSITION SUMMARY:

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Sustainability Leader to join their successful and growing Sustainability and Environmental team. The Sustainability Leader will provide technical support directing selected 3rd party certifications of products and environmental systems. The Sustainability Leader will be part of the Sustainability Development group and be responsible for continuously interfacing with manufacturing and operations. They will also be responsible for supporting the integration of Sustainability goals and objectives into North America WCM Environmental Pillar along with the TNA pillar leader. They will assist WCM pillar leader in tracking results through reported KPI’s.

ESSESNTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Support ReStart program (internally and externally) as needed. Maintain Restart data for division and group CSR reporting.

REQUIREMENTS (including educational requirements)

- Provide expertise, support and training of environmental issues for Sales and Marketing and Technical Information Services.
- Be the lead resource on certifications and customer responses and provide guidance and reviews as needed with RFP’s.
- Conduct training internally and externally
  Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Chemistry, Engineering, or Science
  - 3 Years of experience in a related field
  - Knowledge in the areas of Cradle to Cradle, Life Cycle Analysis, LEEDv4 and other Green Building rating systems, WCM, environmental regulation and Process Engineering is a plus
  - Have a basic understand of environmental issues, certifications and audit processes
  - Strong analytical and math skills
  - Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  - Good presentations Skills
  - Strong team player
  - Strong organizational skills, attention to details, and leadership skills
  - Excellent listening and communication skills
Manage selected third-party certifications of products and environmental systems (e.g. NSF 140, SCS Recycled Content, SCS Recycling Facility, MAS Certified Green Adhesives, NSF-332)
