The Human Resources Manager is often the first person you meet at their organization, and often becomes an employee’s first friend. Their managers greet each person, candidate, employee, client, and vendor in a courteous, informative and helpful manner. The Human Resources Manager contributes significantly to the organization’s mission and is directly involved with the continued growth of the organization.
The Human Resources Manager supports director(s), managers, supervisors, and employees regarding policies, procedures, benefits, recruiting, training and employee relations throughout the Southern Bureau. Advises managers, supervisors, and employees on conduct, performance, conflict resolution, retention, and other related programs. Human Resources Managers will hear all sides of an issue, demonstrates calmness, handles group communication effectively, establishes credibility, conducts research/investigations when necessary and always applies good judgment to any situation.
As a leader, the Human Resources Manager will plan and execute new hire orientations; contribute to employee relations programs along with the Director of Human Resources, oversee employee records, such as hires, promotions, transfers, career development enhancements and terminations as necessary. The Human Resources Manager is the gatekeeper to an employee’s personnel files. The Human Resources Manager adds consistent value by being collaborative, solution orientated, flexible and approachable.
Requirements: 5 years plus of corporate human resources experience. Supervisory experience required. Employee relations, compensation, policy, conflict resolution, recruiting at all levels, and other generalist responsibilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills required. Candidate tracking systems experiences required. H/R systems experiences required. Some travel required.
