Director of Talent Acquisition, Health Care

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Build a strategy-hiring plan and setting the vision strategy and goals for the domestic hiring 

  2. Provide leadership for the domestic HR Business Partners and act as a strong role model, motivating for growth while driving a high level of performance and cutting costs.

  3. Collaborate with senior management and department managers to understand needs and provide talent strategies and workforce planning to attract top talent.

  4. Build a data driven organization evolving recruiting metrics and analytics that provide insights.

  5. Continue to innovate staff on candidate sourcing by leveraging all available tools; including social media, company website, job boards, employee referral program, recruiting tools and agencies when appropriate. Direct, motivate and develop staff by maximizing individual contributions and supporting professional growth. Provide expertise on a leadership platform by collaborating on market penetration, branding strategies and recruitment initiatives. 

  6. Maintain candidate and hire quality by leading productive and innovative sourcing, effective screening, interview and pre-hire processes, relationships with outside agencies and vendors.  Represent corporate brand at professional conferences and universities, etc.

     Participation in Meetings/Committees Attends HR Staff Meetings. 

    Attends other meetings as assigned and/or required.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    This position will have supervisory responsibilities.

    Qualifications: 

    Education and/or Experience

    1. Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field.  Master’s degree or SPHR, PHR or GPHR certification, preferred.  Eight (8) years of recruiting experience with 5+ years in supervisory/management role, required.  Experience building and optimizing recruiting infrastructure (e.g., recruiting strategy, budget, cost savings, tools).  Strong strategic influencing abilities utilizing consultative approach with clients, peers and business line partners. Transportation required.

  • Proven track record of success in building and managing a strong talent acquisition teams

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively

  • Strong relationship building and interviewing skills

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills

  • Familiarity with labor laws, professional standards of practice, and basics of the recruitment process required.

  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.  Reliable Transportation required.
